1. Easy Control
The Blueair Cabin P2i connects seamlessly to your vehicles 12V power supply, from here you can use the control knob to change the fan speed settings of the air purifier. The Blueair Cabin P2i features a 4.5-meter long cable which can be routed around your car interior for greater safety and convenience.
2. Airflow and Display
The Blueair Cabin P2i has three fan speed settings along with the ‘Clean Cycle Mode’, this mode starts the air purifier on the highest speed setting where it operates for 6 minutes, then it drops down to the second speed setting for 3 minutes, after that it drops down to the lowest speed setting where it operates continuously. The Blueair Cabin P2i’s control knob indicates the fan speed setting and when the filter needs to be changed.
3. Filter
The Blueair Cabin P2i features a particle + carbon filter for the removal of particulate matter and VOC’s. The filter consists of a multi-layer PET/PP blend of fibers that have been non-woven and been laminated with activated carbon pellets. The filter has a large surface area which prevents the filter from clogging prematurely which ensures a longer filter life. The filter is able to remove PM2.5, pollen, dust, pet dander, mould spores, viruses, bacteria, formaldehyde, benzene, tire wear – down to 0.1 microns in size.
Filtration Technology
The Blueair Cabin P2i air purifier uses Blueair’s patented HEPASilent technology just like in their other air purifiers. It has been designed to capture particulate pollution by utilising Blueair’s three-stage filtration process. This type of filtration process resembles having several filters at once to capture a wide range of contamination without premature loading of the filter. The initial layers of the filter are designed to capture larger particles, whereas the smaller layers are responsible for capturing viruses and bacteria. The Blueair Cabin P2i also incorporates carbon into the filter for the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). The Blueair Cabin P2i is able to remove small amounts of chemicals, gases and odours which include traffic pollution.
