The IQAir GC Chemisorber is a high-performance air purifier engineered for exceptional gas, chemical, and particulate removal. It combines the proven multi-cartridge chemical filtration of the original GC line with the XE model’s advanced sensor-driven automation and app-based filter life monitoring. It delivers quiet, energy-efficient operation without compromising airflow or effectiveness, making it ideal for homes and professional spaces where the presence of chemicals and gases is a concern.

Filtration Technology

The GC Chemisorber XE employs a three-stage filtration system specifically engineered for environments with high levels of chemicals, gases, and odours. It retains the proven cartridge-based design of the original IQAir GC Chemisorber, now upgraded with advanced sensors, intelligent monitoring, and connectivity for enhanced control and convenience.

1. Micro-Particle Filtration – GC HEPA Pre-Filter (H11 Class)

The first stage of filtration uses a high-capacity H11-class HEPA-grade pre-filter to remove fine and ultra-fine particles such as pollen, pet dander, mould spores, and PM2.5. By capturing these contaminants at the outset, the pre-filter protects the chemisorber cartridges from premature saturation, helps maintain strong airflow, and ensures the system operates at peak performance. Its cylindrical design maximises surface area, supporting both high efficiency and extended filter life.

2. Gas and Chemical Filtration – Four Chemisorber Cartridges

At the heart of the system are four chemisorber cartridges filled with granular media specifically designed for chemical adsorption and neutralisation. This filtration stage is optimised to capture a wide spectrum of hazardous gases and chemical compounds, making it especially effective in environments where strong chemical contamination is present. The robust cartridge design ensures durability, consistent performance, and long service life.

3. Electrostatic Layer – Post-Filter Sleeves
