The IQAir GC MultiGas XE is the latest evolution of IQAir’s professional air purifiers for advanced gas-phase filtration, combining effective chemical and odour control with a broad range of new generation smart features. While preserving the trusted HEPA and high-quality activated carbon filtration technology of the original GC MultiGas, the XE introduces a new energy efficient EC motor, as well as intelligent air quality monitoring, automated performance adjustment, and app-based connectivity for a more responsive and efficient clean air solution.
Engineered specifically to address gas, chemical, and odour contamination, the GC MultiGas XE features a built-in PM2.5 sensor that continuously tracks airborne particle levels in your home. This enables the IQAir GC XE's Smart Auto Mode to automatically adapt the purifier’s performance to real-time indoor conditions. With integrated Wi-Fi, the unit connects to the IQAir AirVisual app, giving you full access to air quality data in your home, as well as nearby government air quality monitoring stations, remote control function, automatic adjustment of fan speed, and precise filter life tracking.
The upgraded EC motor delivers the same strong, quiet, and consistent airflow as the regular GC model, while significantly lowering energy consumption across all speed levels.

Filtration Technology
The GC MultiGas XE uses a three-stage filtration configuration designed specifically for environments with elevated gas and odour contamination. It retains the highly regarded filter design of the original IQAir GC MultiGas, now enhanced with advanced sensors and connectivity.
1. Micro-Particle Filtration – GC HEPA Pre-Filter (H11 Class)
The GC MultiGas XE features a high-capacity H11-class HEPA-grade pre-filter as its first filtration stage. This cartridge is designed to remove fine and ultra-fine airborne particles such as pollen, pet dander, mould spores, and particulate pollution, including PM2.5. By capturing these particles early, the pre-filter prevents premature saturation of the gas cartridges, enhances airflow, and ensures optimal system performance. The cylindrical design maximises surface area, promoting both high efficiency and extended filter life.
2. Gas and Odour Filtration – Four Cartridge MultiGas Media
The core filtration system houses four high-capacity cartridges filled with specialised activated carbon and chemically impregnated alumina. This dual-media blend targets a broad range of harmful gases, including VOCs, formaldehyde, combustion fumes, and household odours. Designed for long-term durability and effectiveness, this media is trusted in sensitive settings where clean air is essential.
3. Electrostatic Layer– Post-Filter Sleeves
Each cartridge is fitted with a fine particulate sleeve to capture any remaining airborne particles after gas filtration, delivering comprehensive multi-phase air purification.
